What can a Telegram or Discord bot actually do?
- Send alerts when a condition is met — a price crosses a level, a form is submitted, a server goes down.
- Answer commands with live data pulled from your database or an external API.
- Moderate a Discord server: filter spam, log message edits/deletes, assign roles automatically.
- Run on a schedule with no user interaction at all — a cron-style job that scrapes, calculates and posts a report.
How much does a bot cost?
A simple alert or command bot with one data source: ₺3,000–6,000. A bot with multiple integrations, a database and a small admin panel to configure it: ₺8,000–15,000. Hosting is separate — usually a few hundred lira a month on a small server, and I set that up too.
